A dog had to be shot in the municipality of Pontiac

Yesterday around 8:30, a 40-year-old man was attacked by his own dog. The incident occurred on the victim’s property in the municipality of Pontiac. Another family member, a 69-year-old man, was also attacked by the animal trying to help the first victim. Both men sustained serious but non life threatening injuries. The SPCA was called to the scene but the animal had to be shot on the spot by police.
