The Carrefour jeunesse-emploi (CJE) Pontiac held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday morning, in the presence of various people involved. Sylvie Landriault, executive director of the organization, summarized the highlights of the past year for the CJE Pontiac.

During the event, some testimonials were delivered from customers “satisfied” with the services offered by the CJE Pontiac. Certificates were awarded to some of them, who have distinguished themselves by their involvement within the organization. A project has been created in recent weeks in collaboration with Bouffe Pontiac, consisting of a thrift store that will contain clean “office” clothes, to allow customers to dress professionally in an interview for a potential job.
The CJE Pontiac also plans, in the near future, to set up a pilot project whose mission will be to facilitate the transition from high school to higher education via a Facebook group.

The organization also highlighted the 15 years of service of Gilles Vallières. A special mention was made to Suzanne Vallières-Nollet, who received the Youth Recognition Award a few weeks ago. She has recently announced that she will be leaving the CJE Pontiac to move towards new challenges.
