ANIMATOR/FACILITATOR
ON CALL AND/OR PART TIME
LES MAISONS DES JEUNES IN SHAWVILLE, OTTER-LAKE,CAMPBELL’S BAY, MANSFIELD AND RAPIDES DES JOACHIMS, SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENT.

Job description:
Under the supervision of the director, the facilitator and/or worker is responsible, depending on the shift, for welcoming youth and evaluating requests, participating in the planning and organization of services, intervening with youth, organizing and facilitating activities, participating in teamwork, compiling requests and statistics, and ensuring the safety of youth and the premises. This program reaches youth in community and school settings in the Pontiac region between the ages of 6 and 17.

Profil:
•Person 18 years of age and older;
•College diploma or university degree in special education, social work, recreation and sport or relevant experience in the field;
•Experience in intervention and/or facilitation with youth aged 6 to 17 years old;
•Knowledge of the community and school environment of the Pontiac region;
•Dynamic and well-organized person;
•Bilingual English-French spoken and written;
•Valid driver’s license;•CPR and First Aid (An asset).

•To be engaged;
•Have initiative, creativity and leadership;
•Be versatile and autonomous;
•Ease of adaptation.Terms and Conditions of Employment:
•Variable hourly rate according to salary scale, experience and qualifications;
•Provide mandatory minimum availability (day, evening and weekends).
