The Rendez-vous des saveurs (RVS), taking place in Gatineau this weekend, will feature Bryson-born chef Yannick LaSalle. Already making a name for himself at the renowned Chelsea eatery Les Fougères, LaSalle won the national gold medal at the Canadian Culinary Championships in 2019.
The RVS brings together some of the best chefs in the region and professionals from the culinary industry, in addition to showcasing the artisans of local and seasonal products from the Outaouais. Foodies are invited to visit the many exhibitors to discover new delicacies, here and elsewhere, including a multitude of wines to taste.
LaSalle will gain some visibility at the event alongside the likes of Benjamin Oddo, who was named the best pastry chef in Quebec last May at the Gala des Lauriers de la gastronomie québécoise. Details and tickets to participate in RVS are available here.
