CHIP 101.9 cultural columnist Marie Gionet nominated for the “Rencontres de l’ADISQ”

For the first time in the history of Pontiac Community Radio (CHIP 101.9), a staff member has been nominated for the next “Rencontres de l’ADISQ”, an event which aims to highlight the work of radio within the music industry. Cultural columnist Marie Gionet, was nominated this year in the category “Cultural animator or columnist of the year - Radio station, regional market”. In an interview this morning, she explained her approach when talking to the artists.

Note that as of November 8, Gionet will host a daily cultural program which will be broadcast during the lunch hour. This program will focus on cultural and artistic events in the Pontiac, as well as on album releases and shows from the Quebec music scene.
