Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec issues call for projects

Artists and organizations in the Pontiac region have until December 16 to submit projects the the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ). Grants will be available for a wide variety of artistic disciplines from architecture to dance and music.

According to a statement on the MRC Pontiac’s website, the objectives of the project are to:
- Stimulate artistic creation in the Outaouais;
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of artists and writers;
- Encourage their retention in their locality;
- Encourage the emergence and inclusion of digital technologies in artistic practice;
- Support professional arts organizations that are structuring the development and influence of the arts and letters in the territory and abroad.

Two virtual information sessions will be offered by Cultural Accompaniment Officer Marc-Alexandre Reinhardt on October 27, with French in the morning from 10 a.m. to noon and English in the afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m.
