MRC Papineau $ 500,000
MRC Pontiac $ 300,000
Total Outaouais $ 800,000

Quebec Renovations Program
City of Gatineau $ 1,200,000
Total Outaouais $ 1,200,000

“I am happy that our cities, municipalities and MRCs can count on the Rénovation Québec, RénoRégion and home adaptation programs of the Société d’habitation du Québec, because they contribute to the economic recovery in our communities. Residential renovation is an important niche in our region and the investments that will be made by the partners thus support this essential sector of activity. This support therefore enables cities, municipalities and MRCs to better meet housing needs in Outaouais and Papineau while improving the quality of life of citizens, ”said the Member for Papineau, Minister of Families and Minister. responsible for the Outaouais region, Mathieu Lacombe.

This is a total bonus of $ 60 million that the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Andrée Laforest announced earlier this week to support Quebecers who want to renovate their homes.

The financial support of Rénovation Québec (PRQ) comes, according to the government, to support municipalities that have a program to improve housing in residential areas that require renovations. The RénoRégion program (PRR) supports low- or modest-income homeowners who live in rural areas and who wish to carry out work to correct major defects in their home.
