Tomorrow evening (May 20), the Phare Ouest organization will be hosting a public event to celebrate the new lighting on the Felix-Gabriel-Marchand Bridge in Mansfield-et-Pontefract. The new lighting system was installed by the company Novom Interactive and will feature an app that allows residents to temporarily change the colour of the lighting. MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller applauded all the work that Phare Ouest had done.
CHIP 101.9 will be airing a special broadcast on Friday starting at 8:30 p.m. to highlight the bridge’s inauguration. There will also be a press conference that morning at 10 a.m. to celebrate the opening of the museum at the George Bryson Heritage House, which sits across the road from the bridge.
