Local projects approved under the Fonds de développement du territoire for 2020

During the most recent meeting of the Mayors of the MRC Pontiac, the regional council resolved to accept the recommendations of the FDT Analysis Committee for growth generating projects, under the Fonds de développement du territoire, to the sum of $ 216,500. This financial support stems from an agreement between the Ministère des affaires municipales et de l’occupation du territoire and MRC Pontiac in accordance with the priorities established by the Council of Mayors from April 1st, 2019 to March 31st, 2020.

The projects that will receive funding are as follow:
1) Villa James Shaw (Architectural drawings) : 41 697,10 $
2) Mun. of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes (Promotional video on agritourism) : 8 382,96 $
3) Club motoneige Pingouin (Expansion of snow mobile trails) : 2 653,46 $
4) Chapeau Agricultural Society (Regional Agricultural Market) : 22 937,44 $
5) Groupe L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet (Signage at the Croix de Cadieux site) : 390,55 $
6) Bouffe Pontiac (Revita - Improvements/renovations) : 4 284,50 $
7) Coop Aventure Hélianthe (New programming and equipment) : 6 071,28 $
8) Mun. of Bryson (Improvements to municipal beach) : 14 206,08 $
9) Maison culturelle George Bryson (Permanent Collection) : 24 129,00 $
10) Fondation Parc Leslie (Infrastructure Improvements) : 58 772,28 $
11) Mun. of Otter Lake (Improvements to baseball field) : 7 284,28 $
12) Assoc. récréative de Chapeau (Improvements to baseball field) : 3 485,30 $
TOTAL: 194 294,22 $

Note that a remaining amount of $22,205.78 will be deferred to a future date.
