Public Notice
Municipality of L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet

Residents of L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet.

With the water level of the Outaouais river rising we wish to inform you that the water may stay that high for a while and more flooding is to be expected. Flooding has already started. More rain is to be expected in the following days. We ask the residents to stay alert because water may continue to rise.

Sand bags are available for free at the municipal garage located at 88, chemin des Outaouais. All volunteers are welcome to fill some sand bags.

Since we are working on helping flooded residents, we ask other residents to contact the municipal office only in case of necessity. We also ask flooded citizens to communicate with the municipal office so we can keep reports on every one.

In case of emergency call 911.

We thank you for your collaboration.
