The warden of the MRC Pontiac, Jane Toller, participated in the annual meeting of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) which took place from June 2 to 5 in Regina, Saskatchewan. She mentioned that the production of green energy had become a priority and that the Premier of Quebec, François Legault, had already encouraged municipalities and business people in this direction.

« At the last meeting for the FQM, in Quebec City, I heard Premier Legault say: Now we need more hydro. The moratorium is over. (François Carrier: yes, there is no more moratorium.) Exact, exact. So this idea for Davidson with cogeneration also the solar farm for renewable energy is a good idea. »
