The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais unveiled that 610 doses of the Moderna vaccine have arrived in the Outaouais. Some doses were already used on Sunday to continue the vaccination tour of the most vulnerable people.

The CISSS de l’Outaouais has indicated that vaccination teams will turn to the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau and the Pontiac to complete the vaccination of CHSLDs and begin vaccination in intermediate residences and residences for the elderly. It is also planned in the coming days to visit the community of Kitigan Zibi to vaccinate residents of an intermediate resource and their workers.

“Thus, we are able to get ahead of the vaccination plan and begin vaccination in residences for the elderly. This is great news that will help protect these vulnerable people faster than expected. To date, 4,387 doses have been administered in the Outaouais, including 3,435 health workers and 853 residents of CHSLDs. The CISSS de l’Outaouais continues its efforts to vaccinate as many people as possible while respecting the priority groups “indicated the CISSS de l’Outaouais.
