Zones 10 and 11 eligible for reimbursement

Zones 10 and 11 eligible for reimbursement

30 October 2020 à 12:00 am

In a statement sent by the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks, as it had been done for zones 12, 13 and 14 earlier this month, the implementation of reimbursement terms for hunting permits for moose for zones 10 and 11 is in effect because of the exceptional situation in the La Vérendrye wildlife reserve.

Thus, the hunters who could not avail themselves of their hunting rights in zones 10 and
11 due to roadblocks have until October 30, 2020 to request a refund. This is an exceptional administrative measure.

The hunters who have decided to change areas to practice moose hunting in because of the exceptional situation can also get a refund. The cost of the area correction permit, which is $ 9.44, will be reimbursed to hunters according to the procedure established for hunting permits. To be eligible for reimbursement, these requests must be submitted no later than November 6, 2020.
